The Tri-Cities Kid's League offers T-Ball, Softball, and Baseball to boys and girls, ages 6 to 17.
The clinics have proven to be valuable for all players, providing an opportunity to sharpen their skills and eliminate some bad habits. Therefore, TCKL is happy to announce that clinics will
once again be offered in the Spring of 2010. The clinics will provide fundamental instruction for hitting, fielding, pitching and base running. In addition, TCKL will offer an
UMPIRE certification clinic.

Time: 1 p.m.

BASEBALL CLINIC
Date: May 15, 2010
Place: Spring Lake Middle School
Time: 9 a.m. - Noon

UMPIRE CERTIFICATION CLINICS
WE NEED UMPIRES!!!
Umpires are paid between $12 and $25 per game depending upon umpiring experience. If you, a relative, or a neighbor is interested in umpiring, please see the Umpire section of the Registration Page. Your child is eligible to umpire if he/she was born in 1998 or earlier.

Umpire Certification Clinics In 2010!!
Two Levels Of Training Are Available:
Minor Baseball and All Softball
Intermediate and Major Baseball

Clinics for each level of certification consist of two instruction sessions and one field mechanics session. Session times are as follows:
Minor Baseball and Softball (min. age – born 1998 or earlier)
INSTRUCTION SESSIONS
Dates: April 17 & April 24
Place: Griffin Elementary
Time: 8 am - noon

FIELD MECHANICS SESSION
Date: May 15
Place: Griffin Elementary Field
Time: 8 am - noon
|
Intermediate and Major Baseball (min. age – born 1995 or earlier)
INSTRUCTION SESSIONS
Dates: April 17 & April 24
Place: Griffin Elementary
Time: 1 pm – 3 pm

FIELD MECHANICS SESSION
Date: May 15
Place: Sluka Field
Time: 1 pm – 4 pm
|
Registration is $20 per person. Upon successful completion of the classroom and on-field instruction, TCKL certification will be given. This will provide higher pay for each game worked, and preference of games scheduled. Fulfilling all certification requirements and working all scheduled games will enable each certified umpire to have the $20 registration fee reimbursed at the end of the season.
All currently certified umpires are required to attend the appropriate Field Mechanics session on May 15th, at no cost, as a refresher in order to retain their certification.
